I.
I would just call one to load the trailer and then off load to your trailer then do the opposite at your destination. a competent operator should understand what your wanting to do and how.
When purchasing the farm 1 thing I required was that the damaged barn doors be repaired so I had a dry place to work and store things during the move. The door was fixed on the P.O.'s $. However he was slow to it and in my impatience I called all the local contractors I could. The quotes I was getting were obscene for such a simple task (2 wooden 10x12 doors).
But just due to the distance from civalization, they were asking 110$ hour avg.
so for someone with real experience and equiptment to come 2hrs north for a 5min job I could pay the extra trip fuel and absorb the extra kms, and just return the trailer myself. Just thought I might save some hassel but its seemingly not worth it.
Again with the time.. but I have everything set aside for a very large hoist
out at the farm, it would eaisly lift the trailer but, will take a long time to set up, and if I rush it wont be in the most ideal location so I would kick myself later.
