I noticed when I took off my MMM this weekend, the difference in the threads on the adjustment of the front link (the link that is "levered" up between the front wheels) was about 1/2" between each side. That seems way off to me. My B's were always very close, but they were ground contact mowers.

I know you don't fix what's not broken, but I haven't scrutinized the dealers adjustments or confirmed the deck is mowing level or at the selected height. The yard just looks good. After reading about the never-ending adjustment nightmares with the BX MMM's, I hate to even look, but seeing the difference between each side, I have to assume the adjustments can be improved. On that note, the rear adjuster bolts seem to be way different, too. When rolling the deck out, I can only go out one way because the right rear adjuster sticks up too high (again, about 1/2" to 3/4"). Should I mess with it? Could it be adjusted, but the differences be that much between the sides? Would that indicate something wrong or bent if the deck mows level, but the adjustments are so different?

If you are getting a good quality cut I wouldn't touch it. You don't always adjust by the length of bolt as I used a set of calipers to make everything "exact" only to degrade the quality of cut. You adjust to make the distance of the blade tips off the ground the same. If you are going to do it set aside a lot of time and patience. After doing this on my BX2200 a couple of times, if I have trouble with my BX2660, it's going on the trailer.

On the front link, I would be more concerned with contact with the front locking mechanism.

If one side seemed to make contact long before the other, I would assume adjustment is in order.

I must admit, I haven't looked at mine. Based on the self leveling feature of the 60" deck, it seems less sensitive than my older BX2200/ 54MMM setup.

When rolling the deck out, I can only go out one way because the right rear adjuster sticks up too high (again, about 1/2" to 3/4").

On your anti-scalp wheels, when you turn them 90* to the deck for deck removal there should be two pin holes. Try the lower ones for your rear anti-scalp wheels to see if it clears the frame. Drop the front ones to the upper hole because if you set them to the lower hole, the fixed anti-scalp roller in the middle front of the deck will hit the ground and the deck won't roll. You only need the extra clearance for the back wheels anyway.

I drive my BX up on 2x6 boards and use this approach now to remove my 54" deck since I too had issues with the adjusting bolts hitting the tractor frame on install/removal. Good luck.
