What type tire

Ok folks. Decided on the M7040HDC FEL. I can get either the standard Ag tires or the R 4's for the same money. Most of my work will be in pasture / grass with a good deal of loader work moving pallets around #2000lb from trailer to tralier. Will be working hay , occasionally some finish mowing large lots. What tire should I choose to best suit my overall needs???

I went with the R4's anticipating cutting my lawn later with the tractor. Now I wish I would have went with the Ag tires. The R4's don't pull well in mud. I'll probably get a ZTR sooner or later to cut the yard. Currently using a two riding mowers anyway.

They do pull well on dry ground though!

Your overall use indicates R4 tires. They are easier on the landscape and good for loader work. When I prowl my pasture, I like the fact that I'm not leaving a trail.

I recommend 1 Bar Tire on each corner.

Just get the big black rubber ones.

If they don't work out for you get ones with a different tread, on a different set of rims, swap 'em around from time to time (say at 10 am and 3 pm) see what works best for YOU.
Get all 3 sets, get 3 different tractors so you won't have to swap 'em around.

I vote for the ags, had them on the bx23 and wished i had industrial tires, then bought a bx24 with the industrial tires now i am wishing for ags.. i cant win

This is why I'm Glad my BX is a 23 instead of a 24.
