Yesterday, i have a nice easy day laid out for the bota. I get to the job (private school) 4 acres of athletic fields,1 acre campus. I get everything fertilized (rear pto) and start boom spraying (front electric) I make 3 passes and the on/off switch in the cab just falls apart in my hand. I checked the tool box, no spare switch! I proudly walked to the truck, pulled a lightswitch out of the dashboard & jury riged it to get through the day!

Funny, I have a couple of old riding lawn mowers out in the back part of the property, every now and then I'll scavenge some 12v switch or the like.

Nice thing when the voltage is all the same.

Current makes more of a difference.. most switches today for 'low voltage' dc are usually at least 32v switches.. if not 250v.. etc.

I has a shock today at the isuzu dealer, $ 54. for a replacement switch! Had i known that saturday, i might not have pulled it out. I got the job done anyway.

clothes pin, cardboard and wire makes a good temp switch :)
