I cant imagine what the fine could have been for that.

Same here. What exactly would the fine be for?

I think they call it overloaded, and he would get a fine for that....You can't tell that ?..

When i use to drive a tractor trailer, i would love it when i seen these "hotshot truckers" (as they like to be called) pulled over by the DOT's

I would always give my horn a couple quick blows & keep on trucking:D

Yea i know..... No pickup truck is rating for that much weight:rolleyes:

I don't know where you live, but I live in God's Country also... and that rig wouldn't be legal around here.. They would haul him away & his truck.

Well, I live in BC, and he had to come through my province to get to AK. There's a reason why they say BC stands for "bring cash". Hard to believe he'd travel over 2000 kilometers without being pulled over. if he was they would bring out the portable scales and check his axle weights against the ratings. If the axle weights are OK and everything else checks out, off he goes. They don't recognize GCVWR here. But there is a 13 per cent grade a mile from my house and lots more of them between here and the Alaska border, so it would be a pretty hairy ride.

Leaving a state appointed mental hospital without permission from your parole officer.
:D:D:D:D Stuff like that amazes me. The MTO (DOT in U.S.) keeps a magnifying glass on our commercial vehicles, yet you see personal use vehicles getting away with stupid stuff like that all the time. Just like all the ones you see around here, overloaded, on their way to the dump, spilling garbage all over the road. The police and MTO just drive by them. If I were spilling stuff out the back of my dump truck they'd have me pulled over so fast, writing up fines and cvor points.
