I need to know how to remove the right rear axle to replace a leaking seal.
This is a Yanmar 2700 , its red with a very light green engine.
There is a square plate held on by 4 bolts that contains the axle seal.
No problem getting the plate loose but I cant get the axle out? I dont see any access panel underneath etc. I didnt know if the axle has a retainer clip like a old chevy etc. I hit on it pretty good but didnt seem to move.
Help Guys tks Chuck

Remove axle housing, then remove circle clip that holds the bull gear on. reomve bull gear and pull axle out.

You need to replace the collar along with seal W/flange. Check bearings also.
