Kubota was considerable cheaper on the RTV900, higher on the 3940 and slightly cheaper on the ZD326P. This is compared to the company that has my home policy (Germania). I have Kubota Insurance on the RTV900 and the ZD326P.

Be aware if you buy the Kubota insurance when you buy the equipment and pay off early they will cancel your insurance when you pay it off. And then call and offer to insure it for you. At least that is what happened on my RTV900, I was without insurance for about a month and didn't know it.

The Kubota insurance is much better than my homeowners. I asked the dealer if I could continue it once the loan was paid off. He said they were not doing it at this time.

I disagree with your dealer. I just bought a rtv and while researching insurance,
i called KI and yes, they do offer insurance after your paid off. the rate worked out to about .75 cents per $100.

I think this is something that they recently started. I got a notice that my insurance was being canceled because the note was paid off. Then I get a phone call from Kubota Insurance the same day I got the notice wanting to know if I would like to insure the RTV900. I renewed and got the policy in the mail a few days later.

So they do insure after the note is paid off but I don't know the details of what they will or will not cover.

According to my conversation with KI, coverage is the same as when you had it under the note. If you add additional items to the RTV that were not on the original invoice, you can get it added as long as it is a Kubota item, such as a cab.

My insurance company was cheaper than what Kubota offered. I pissed and moaned about getting it, but under 20 hours I put a stick through the radiator. Instead of $1000 it cost me $0, I guess crow doesn't taste so bad after all.
