My neighbor seems to have the same issue on his 2555. We hooked up the recharge kit assuming it was low but it was in the "red" zone which says too much refrigerant. We didnt add any. It doesnt appear the compressor is kicking on when the AC is turned on in the cab. I thought it might be electrically related that maybe a fuse was blown when it tried to compress too much gas in the system. No sign of a fuse block anywhere in the tractor either. We took the cowling off around the dash but it wasnt evident what is what without a shop manual. Anyone have a shop manual or Wiring diagrams?
Am I correct in my thought process that usually the AC clutch system is like an electromagnet that clamps the spinning front pully to the compressor when current is introduced to it, like an electric clutch for a lawntractor or somethign similiar? Just trying to help out my neighbor who is very helpful to me.
