A full size ag tractor these days in Germany does 40 to 50 km/h... when only doing 20, it must have been an old small thing.

Not to dump on the stupidity of the police or Germans, but why didn't they just follow him, heck at 12mph they could have just had a cop jog behind him and arrest him when he got home.

How long can a tractor go before running out of fuel? It seems the newer ones here in the states can run all day on a tank.

Pretty irresponsible reporting if you ask me. No mention of the make or model of the tractor. How many hours on it? Any mods? What implement was on it if any? Did it have a FEL? And most important to us TBN folks... Was he using synthetic or conventional oil?

Typical foreign press: always leaving out the really important stuff.
