... and a B just isn't an L :D For me, the BX didn't feel substantially larger than my G series so I moved up to the B.

To me the BX is more of an overgrown GT. I'm not disputing the versatility of the BX series at all, but IMO they're not a true tractor. SCUTs are the new version of the super-GTs that people used to buy who didn't need a tractor but also wanted more versatility than an avg. GT offered. Kind of the ultimate multi-purpose suburban lawn mower.

I have had a bx24 which is a priceless machine and perfect for what it was built for, home owner swiss army knife tractor it will do everything. But there is always a better tool for the bigger jobs. There have been a few times I wish I had it back(like when the G6200 was stuck in wet yard) and when I couldn't fit something bigger. But I also would not want a M59 for most of the stuff as it would be to big. Thus a B26 fit my use 80% of time. There is a reason there is not just on size of a machine like trucks 1/2 ton 3/4 ton 1 ton. Buy what fits 80% or more of the time and work around it or rent if you need something for the rest time.

Oh brother...Kubota should be ashamed for selling BX's under false pretences...How dare them call 'em a tractor.

Man there's some dislike of the BX's out there. I've had GT's and my BX isn't even close to a GT. It's perfect for my needs. I also had an 8N. It did it's job, but ripped the yard apart.

This is not a 1/4 acre tractor as some imply. Some of us just buy what we need, nothing more. I maintain 3 acres along with a 600+ foot road and a 300 foot driveway with it. It is perfect for me. I moved over 100 ton of gravel with it this year alone. Is it as fast as an AG? No. But my off-work time is free. So I really don't care. This little thing is far more capable than I thought when I bought it, and given what I paid for it new, I expected alot.

Stop trashing the BX's. Good grief, we all have the same interests, just some have farm needs, and some of us don't.

Don,

At least someone agrees with me...Although LB will chime in, I'm sure.

This is built like a tank. Had it for 5 years, no problems at all. Has exceed all of my expectations, even the 3PT works well with a landscape rake and other attachments. Have to get a tooth bar for the loader, but that's on the to-do list.

The first year I had it, my German Shepard died on New Years Day. Had to bury her in wet clay in a downpour. Made this thing worth every penny that night. I'd still be digging, and that was 5 years ago.

The B guys need something bigger than a BX, so be it, I don't. I'm perfectly happy and would recommend the BX23 to anyone who asks.

This overgrown big box tractor is a strange comment. It appears that they don't know what this really is.
