My Power King was picked up by a flatbed towtruck. The FEL wouldnt go up because the belts were loose. When the driver hooked up the cable, it lifted the FEL up about 2 feet- the valve was closed on the controls. Now it doesnt work. Any suggestions on what I should look at. The cylinders have two hoses going to them. the FEL has four cylinders.
thanks steve

Hydraulic lock? Loosen the hoses (very carefully) then tighten back up...

Just guessin BTW...

Good guess...and certainly worth a try. Just be very careful as fluid may shoot out of the fittings when loosened, cover them with a rag and where hand/eye protection.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will give that a try.
Do I need to just take one hose off each cylinder?

Do both Steve, one at a time...let us know what happens;)

Block up the bucket so it does not fall or hurt you or someone else before loosening anything.

Good point Chris, I should have mentioned that myself...

FEL worked. the first time after removing hoses. second time I tried it didnt. Here is the sequence of events. I was moving the backhoe around-trying all controls, they all worked. went to FEL and it all worked. turned off tractor. h2 hours later started up tractor. moved backhoe around, FEL wouldnt work. The pump output goes directly to the backhoe, and then back up to the FEL valve. Is this correct routing for the hoses?

Usually the FEL valve is first, then the 3PH and/or backhoe.

Since the the pump output goes to the BH first...I would guess that one of the levers is not centering causing the fluid to go directly back to the sump rather that the FEL valve.

would it help to put in a "t" and send the pump output to both the FEL and backhoe seperately?
