What's the difference between an XUV and A RTV?

A XUV you use for chores around the farm. RTV you use to seal up leaky equipment:)

XUV is green and yellow, RTV is usually red or orange.

Oh you ment the Kubota RTV...

word on the street is that the new XUVs will go 45mph!

Can't say the do or don't but it would be about frikin time!

A guy I know has a new Polaris Ranger .
The speedometer is registered for 70 M P H .

I have a Polaris Sportsman 700 ATV and it as well has a speedometer that is rated to 70 mph. But what person in there right mind would want to travel 70 mph is beyond me.

It make sense that the new XUV's would go to 45 mph. Over the last few years the Gators have gone from a standard one speed transmission with a top end of 18 mph, to 2 speed transmissions with a top speed of 30. You have to keep up with the competition.

i sure hope they don't mess with the low end on the gators but something tells me that if they get them to do 45 they will loose the low end power . after owning a hpx for 5 years i wouldn't wanna be on one going 45mph . if they do any mods to it i hope they drop a bigger engine in them they need it badly.

How fast have you had it .
*Do you think it would do it.

I think the fastest I have gone is 40, past that it gets too dangerous and stupid on a such a small, unprotected machine. Yeah, I think it would do every bit of 70, it definitely has the power for it. It just depends if it's speed governed or not.

I hope they don't lose the low end torque of the gator either. Most of my time on it is spent moving at around 5 - 10 mph. The only time I might go faster is if I take it out on the asphault, which is rare. Really the 18 mph top speed works fine for me, but I could see where the two range transmission would be a nice feature.
