A guy I know has a new Polaris Ranger .
The speedometer is registered for 70 M P H .
How fast have you had it .I have a Polaris Sportsman 700 ATV and it as well has a speedometer that is rated to 70 mph. *But what person in there right mind would want to travel 70 mph is beyond me.
How fast have you had it .
*Do you think it would do it.
Thanks for your nice reply.I think the fastest I have gone is 40, past that it gets too dangerous and stupid on a such a small, unprotected machine. Yeah, I think it would do every bit of 70, it definitely has the power for it. It just depends if it's speed governed or not.
I hope they don't lose the low end torque of the gator either. Most of my time on it is spent moving at around 5 - 10 mph. The only time I might go faster is if I take it out on the asphault, which is rare. Really the 18 mph top speed works fine for me, but I could see where the two range transmission would be a nice feature.
