That's amazing. When I saw the tops of the planes (while in flight), it appeared the photographer was also in the air. The planes must of been flying sideways? After another look there is blue sky behind the planes.

All services and even the civilians do some pretty amazing stuff at Andrews. I have managed to get to a lot of airshows, world wide, and even had some up close and personal fly bys, the show at Andrews just seems to bring it to another level.

I can recall one year, a USMC harrier was showing his/her stuff, the heat from the engines when they came out of vertical was -----singeing... But we didn't care because our ear drums were rupturing.

Just normal aviation fixed wing/rotor wing squadrons... ever naval aviator can do it... air shows are just closer to the ground.
