I bought the property mostly for hunting and atv riding also as an investment. With the economy now I decided to do something different. Got it for a good deal. Going to try to clear the tillable land, build a pond or two, and maybe a house in five to seven years. I have a TC45 with FEL and BushHOG, but soon realize that I will definately need a dozer in the future. I will try to scan some pics of the place when I bought it. I had owned it a month and found a barn that I didn't know I had. That is how bad it has grown up. The place has a lot of history and just cleaning it up will be a multi-year process.

If it's grown up real bad you might want to get the dozer first when it will do the most good.

These are some pic that i have of when we first bought the place. Like i said it was very grown up and have since tore down a barn and cut down about 50 locust trees. The property has three barns and now down to two. Had to do some modifying today to fit the tractor in. Used to be an old hog barn i believe. Also found the old spring which has a block coffin type spillover. I will get some pics eventually. The spring is running like crazy and may be a great place for a future lake or pond. So many ideas and not enough $$.

Hi, there. Welcome to the gabfest.

Looks like you have a nice foundation on that old barn. Shouldn't be too difficult to rebuild the rest of it and make it into a super-neat weather-proof haybarn that will last another 100 years. Your TC45 will come in handy for that kind of project.

You got it right - you can't do it all at once. Just takes a little time and a few kind words.

Welcome to TBN.
