Tractor
TC34DA
I need a implement to maintain the front of my property.
the ground has a swale for water.
Currently using a weed trimmer.
due to my physical disabilities I have to stop.

So i need help spending money on a tractor attachment for my TC34DA.
I was thinking sickle bar trimmer is this possible or is there something better?

Any suggestions.

Wow you are narrow & steep with not much depth that is not the best combination for a sickle... and the only other thing that comes to mind is an offset rotary type and I see rocks along there ... I don't know what your best bet will be, ?? KennyV

KennyV,

This is a hard one, that's why I was hoping someone here would have a idea.
I like the rotary idea not sure if the TC34DA can handle one.

The other thing I can do is buy 12" - 20" culvert pipe that the town uses, bury it with 3/4 crushed stone.

We have this on our property.. My solution is to drive across the swale and get one set of tires on the ridge and one on the road and accept that it looks flat but there is a swale underneath...

But, I have a tractor that takes slopes... Otherwise you might need some sort of a flail mower attached to a backhoe arm...

Thanks ---I could not find this, now I need to get a price.
It looks like it can do anything which makes it worth it for other odd mowing which I have.

Do you have a mid mount mower? If you drive perpendicular to the ditch, you might be able to climb down and up the back of the ditch. I have a similar ditch in front of my house and do it in this manner. I just use the hydraulic lift of the deck to raise and lower it depending on where I am crossing the ditch. The only problem is that you are backing out on the road alot, and depending on traffic on your road this may or may not work. It also looks like you might have a couple of trees in the way.
