Hello,

This is my first post to this forum. I just bought a 2610d. I have done my homework on these and there is mixed reviews. Tractor is a rebuild which I was leary about "but it was done here in the states". Can someone point me in the direction of a part dealer and a service manual? I noticed that Hoye seems to have a number of parts. Are they any good? At this point any help would be greatly appreciated. Worst case scenario if I do not like it I sell it I guess. Thank you in advance

Brandon

Aaron = Hoye. Good guys, and there are a few other good guys who post here too. Don't worry about parts so long as mailorder is ok.

You will soon love your Yanmar.

But why doesnt the dealer have parts? How could the dealer rebuild it in the US without parts? :D I'm not convinced he is telling you what you need to know.

I can supply you with parts & manuals. As with any tractor of this age not all parts are available, but if it is in good shape & taken care of, you shouldn't need the hard to get parts.

Brandon, not to get on you but if you did your homework and got a stateside rebuild then where in the states was this rebuild facility.

Plenty of good parts suppliers on here but if you have a rebuild, that last thing you should be needing are parts and service manual. What did the seller provide?????

I don't know of any dealers state side that do a ''re-build'' to sell.. Re- ferbish ( if needed )

I have a 2610D lots of good parts around everywhere. Do not buy any "Yanmar manuals" for this tractor as they will only be representative of other Yanmar Models.

Get a John Deer Service Manual for the 850, 950 and 1050 series tractors. Your tractor has a JD 950 frame and JD 850 motor. 95% of everything you need to know is in the JD manuals. Power shift excluded
