Iseki Starter/Coil

These two numbers are on the front cover of my Bolens repair manual that I got when I first bought this tractor ... the small pic of my tractor is displayed on the top left hand corner of my posting board...you can see on the name plate it displays the ISEKI emblem which I've since removed it as cause it was broken....and also it is 17 hp and 4 wheel drive...I don't know what the "G" stands for but I do know the number 17 is for 17 hp and the 4 meaning 4 wheel drive....Ampa

The difference is that the Japanese reference the PTO horsepower... 15 Hp. The american companies reference engine horsepower... 17 hp.

I have an Iseki TX 1500 which cross references to a Bolens G172. I think the G stands for "Garden" tractor.
