Help - 3910 Wiring Diagram

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1987 3910 (Diesel, Alternator)? Just picked it up last week and the previous owner has done away with everything resembling an instrument cluster and added his own wiring for auto gauges. I'm putting the dash back to stock after some body work and a splash of color. Runs great, just can't tell how much fuel is in the tank.

Ouch. Had a 3910 myself about same model. I aquired it after it had been kept in barn for about 3-4yrs without being cranked. Rats had ate all of the insulation off the wiring harness behind the instrument cluster. I had a guy trying to get me a wiring harness at a local shop that the tractor originally came from in '83. They were no longer a ford dealer since the change to NH but could still get parts. He finally told me to just replace the wire and not the harness it was in bad shape but he said would have been cheaper to fix. I think I bought that tractor in 2003, with 550 original hours on it. Wish I hadnt sold it. Good luck.

Any chance you could send me the wiring diagram for a diesel 3910? I have the same problem - someone has butchered the wiring on my tractor and I will need all the help I can get from the diagram to get it right again. Thanks. Read

Sorry but I looked and the manual does not have a wiring diagram.

I also need a wiring diagram, the instrument cluster burnt in mine. I replaced the dash but not the harness (to expensive). I am trying to rewire it my self but it is proving difficult to get a wiring diagram.

Must be a pretty sad service manual.

The only place I know of where the 3910 wiring diagrams are published is in the OEM service manual. 40001020-2A is the part number for the electrical section of the Ford 10 and 30 series tractor service manual. It has all the electrical info for both series of 3 and 4 cylinder Fords except the very last of the 30 series. Cost is about $110 plus shipping. Call 1-800-635-4913 or order from New Holland online:
