Well after 6 seasons and 450 hours I gotta get a new battery.

Does your tractor live inside or outside? Just wondering about the effects of temp change on battery life.

I keep it in a 8x12 storage barn. During the winter months I start it up and let it run for 15 - 20 minutes. It usually starts fairly easy after sitting for weeks.
I am sure it's recommended to disconnect the battery if the tractor isn't being used during the winter months. I just never did.
I would think temp changes would have some effect like being really cold.

I am actually impressed it lasted so long. I gotta bite the bullet and get a new one!

6 years for a battery is not bad at all, especially considering you don't run it every week.

I was thinking 6 years was phenominal.

I am running up to my sixth season as well, I start mine in the winter months about once a month and let run for about 10 -15 mins or so. I also thought this was awesome for a factory battery Btw mine is a gt 2523-54 (2554)

Who makes OEM batteries?

Will replace with it when mine goes.
