From looking at the parts displayed in the expanded thumbnail it would appear the only thing hydraulic about this system is the name.

I would agree- were does the hydraulic oil go in?

There is a small oil resivor next to the electric motor(towards the bottom of the screen) Then you have a small 12v winch motor with a small gear pump in the front. And right next to that you have a small 1-1/2" bore hydraulic cylinder. it is all ported internally and has load checks in both directions to stop the bed from drifting down. the unit is clean and easy to install.

I can tell you this, I have dumped around 1200lbs with mine and it had no problem lifting that. I can also say that right around 900lbs in the bed and you have no rear suspension.

The funniest part of this whole thread is that B-rad-G is actually Brad Gulick who owns Hydra-Lift Systems.
Is there anyone out there besides the manufacturer who has actually used this system?

No one has posted here for a while but I have had my lift for over a year now and it is still going strong. No problems here. Also I talked to my Kubota dealer the other day and they had heard the Hydra Lift would hit on the exhaust system when the suspension moved? The one from D & B I have is really great and when kids are around they can't move it and pinch themselves even with the key on - they actually have to have the thing running which is a real safety feature I thought.

Hydra-Lift Systems L.L.C. has over 200 working units in the field for over a year now and I never heard from any of our dealers that the unit hit the exhaust. Infact when the rtv500 is bottomed out there is a 1/2" of room between the Hydraulic power unit and the exhaust.

If the unit did hit the exhaust when under a full load than the unit was installed incorrectly and we would be glad to help in resolving the problem.

The Hydraulic power unit is completly waterproof. If you want a better look at the unit you can check out our website and click on the installation manual in the upper left corner.

Thread started by owner and now a year later "someone" restarts thread and a confessed dealer happens to see the thread with an answer that this merchandise is great. Suspicious? Me? Surely not?:):):):D:D:D Pay for an ad Hydra Lift like the other vendors of tractor products. Sneaky questions in disguise makes me believe one would be sneaky in production and follow up.
B rad G never denied he is the owner, I noticed.

New member KubotJoe with no posts other than about this product and the company rep happens to join about the same time as KubotJoe has his question. Stranger things have happened but I think not.:confused:
