See now what Lbrown is really saying is he should have bought a Cub subcompact, just as good as his baby BX and much cheaper.;) Or, if he was even smarter, buy a Cub Compact tractor which would have taken the place of the 3 Kubotas he has.;) The 2544 is a good machine but not in the class of a sub-compact or compact tractor.

I like your answer scoutcub. Coming from nothing, to an old bolens 1050, to now a pushmower, the gt3200 will be plenty of machine for my needs. Yes someday i will get a compact tractor LBrown59 but not for many years. I just cant swing it right now. I like tractors alot so i would probably keep the cub gt3200 and then get the compact also anyway. I am not sure what year the bolens 1050 is from. I actually made another post to try to obtain info from fellow members on where to get parts at a decent price for it. If you have any ideas i need mower deck parts, rearend parts, and the wisconsin motor rebuilt. Any help would be appreciated. The Bolens means alot to me and my family. I need to restore it. Thanx

Wonder what one would cost compared to what i pd for the BX?
I'm not really turned on by a CC Compact.

My Sc2400 w/ FEL, Grille Guard and loaded tires set me back $11,200 back in early summer of 08'. After my experience with the Cub 5234 I actually looked at a Kubota BX24. I did not buy the Kubota, not because I did not think it was a nice machine...but rather because I was that impressed with the CCY 2400. Personally I think that the Yanmar runs smoother than the Kubota diesels. At the time I also liked the idea of position control on the 3 pt (I must admit now that I rarely use the box scrapper). I think the BX would have served me just as well, however I am glad I stuck with the Yellow (& Black)
