I have a TZ25DA with a 60" MMM.

The thing that is happening is that on every pass I make mowing, there is about a 4" wide strip down the middle of my path that is partially not mown.

These are new blades, just put on prior to mowing today, and was doing this on the first pass.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Was it mowing like that before you changed the blades ?

Do the blades all meet up close together when you rotate them by hand ( use gloves )
Are the blade / blades on upside down . The part of the blade opposite the sharpened edge , the lift part ( raised part should be faced up ) toward deck .

The blades are on, like I think they should be. Look at this link:

New Holland 60Cms Mower Deck (10/03- ) Parts Catalogs

Then click on "bearing holder" (either one). The blade is installed like those pictured, which was how the original ones were when I bought he tractor two years ago.

It hasn't always done this, just recently. Thought it was the old worn out blades, hence why I bought new ones yesterday.

sounds like there is too much spacing between the blades in the middle?

Well , looks like you have them on correctly

but there is not any adjustment for anything under there...

nothing seems to be loose either, like maybe a bearing is going bad or something.

I'll have to pull the deck off again, and inspect everything.

It sounds like the center roller of the deck is flattening the grass and there isn't enough vacuum to pull it back up to cut it all. Check your deck to be sure the front edge is 1/4" lower than the rear. Did you add air to the tires or adjust the deck before this started to happen? Did you adjust the height of the rollers?

Any chance the blades are the wrong length? How close are they to the perimeter of the deck?
