Howdy
It seems like my injector pump has quit working.
No fuel coming from injector lines with motor turning over.
I had loaned out tractor, came back out of fuel.
Bleed lines and used one day, next day would not start.
Here I am.
Saw a thrad about the oil in pump.
Will low oil keep it from pumping.
If my pump has died where is the best place to get one?

Did you take the fuel line off at the pump to make sure you are getting fuel to the pump. You could have a pluged line or filter.

Yes sir, I have fuel coming out of line.

How long should it take to get air out of pump?

low oil/no oil will destroy the pump same as engine without oil. Are you getting fuel coming out from both injector lines. I think you still have air trapped somewhere in the injector line and part of the pump. Follow the instruction on the thread you found and hopefully you'll be good to go. Report your progress and we'll try to help.

Howdy.
I am not getting any fuel out of injector lines.
Loosened caps at pump and injector and am not getting any fuel.
I even tried pulling the tractor to see if fuel would come out and that was a negative.

loosening caps at the pump... which cap are you talking about? Is that the cap where you add oil to he injector pump? that should make no difference at all in bleeding the air out of the system. The outlet pipes from the injector pump need to be tight to do an air bleed. You need to loosen the nut right at the injectors and then start up to remove the air at the highest point. At first you remove air and fuel bubbles till you get a solid stream of liq coming and that's when you tighten the two fuel pipe nuts. Go slow and easy on the starter so you do not heat it excessively causing unintended damage. I would pull start the tracor as a last resort, and would not use ether or any starter fluids as an aid at all due to the damage potentiating they present..

I hope you can get it running again without spending $700 on a pump. I always go by, (Rule # 1) Never loan out any motorized equipment! It will never come back in the same condition and the borrower will not assume responsibility.:eek: Murphey's Law: If something can go wrong, it will....
