Boy Fred

They make you guys tough up there in Michigan plowing snow in sandals and shorts. Would not want to run into you in a dark alley.:D

Chris

Chris, that was hilarious!!!! That was delivery day in July, of course. Actually, we had snow in the air yesterday. Brief spit, only lasted a few minutes, but you get the idea. I'll be posting some photos this winter from here at 45th parallel. Doubt you'll see any sandals and shorts.:D:D:D
We're tough, but not that tough.

I paid $1200 for a 54" all hydraulic to fit my John Deere 2210.

I have about $1,250 into a 54" Kubota front blade that I'm making into a 4-way hydraulic plow. The standard 54" is manual angle. Blade and qick hitch with hydraulic up/down was about $985. If I could have done the welding myself, I could have saved about $120. The Kubota 60" 4-way hydraulic plow retails for almost $2,000.

Actually the 60" front hydraulic angle front blade retails for $1392.00. The quick hitch which you will need for either the 54', or the 60" retails for $586.00 per the Kubota site. The 54" blade itself retails for $421.00. Not trying to argue with anyone, just showing where the dollars go for the different options.

Chuck, yes, I did not specifically mention the quick hitch was part of the $2,000 +/- quote for the 60" but of course it's needed to actually mount it. Your prices confirm what I was quoted, so for a lot less, I got the 54" with 4-way hydraulics. Still leaves one to question why Deere's 54" with OEM 4-way hydraulics is around $1,200 and Kubota's 60", albeit heavier and larger, is $800 more. I think they should offer the 54" with the option for 4-way hydraulics, like Deere does.

OK, just checked and the Deere 54" front blade with hydraulic lift and angle for a JD2305 retails for $1,298. Same set up for a 2320, 2520, or 2720 is $1,347.
