Ouch. I'm surprised the 3PT is not engineered to make that impossible.

I forgot the foldable ROPS was in the upright position when driving into the garage to get something - lifted the front end of the tractor off the ground to the point of nearly putting the frontend loader arms through the door that was hanging from the ceiling before I thought of putting in the clutch. Major sphixter pucker... Roger

I finally got around to making a flashing light for snow plowing. I had it mounted to the quick hitch on 3pt. I had not even used it for plowing yet when I need to dig out some stuff from a lean to. First bucket in went fine and I thought to myself I should remove it but it cleared and I was in a hurry next one in and the tractor tipped just right and sure enough smash. The sad part was it removed by pulling two pins in no time at all.

I'm sorry ... this one made me laugh ... don't ya just hate it! Thats what made me keep my fence lines sprayed.

Numerous reasons that I did that...basic one was I was in a hurry.

Stupid things, I don't think I could fit them all here.

• Backed the 4 wheeler into the truck, broke the tail light
  Drove into the barn with the ROPS up and hit the top of the door busting it (4 times so far)
  Did what toadhill did with a piece of firewood that fell out of the loader and dented the hood (tractor was very new still)
  Went to hammer a piece of steel, the hammer slipped out of my hand, flew through the air and broke the turn signal on the tractor.
  Jacknifed a small trailer causing a dent in the bumper of my truck
  Busted the rear window out of my pickup shoveling gravel out (shovel handle hit window)
  I could go on.....

Hey all,

I didn't do it, our hired man did it. He was trusted to keep himself busy all day and screwed off instead. When he figured out he had wasted too much time screwing around, he went out to cut wood in a hurry and slid the 4840 into the ditch. We had only bought the tractor 2 weeks earlier. In the end, he run off with a torch set, a couple Stihl chainsaws, and many other tools.

I guess the stupid thing was to hire a guy out on huber and trust him to work unsupervised

Been pretty lucky with the tractors, but this one is SORTA is tractor related....

Shoulda used a tractor to move this!
