Hi everyone.

I've had my 2015 hst for about three years and I'd like to have pallet forks. I have access to really inexpensive forks and carriages through work and would like to use these.

What do I need to do to convert my bucket to a QA set up? I have the ML104 loader and can remove the loader arms and everything but not the bucket right now.

Also, since I will be needing to weld my forks up with a QA set up should I not worry about skidsteer conversion and just do a regular QA?

Any idea on ballpark cost?

I've just starting looking at this so any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

If you do get the "Tool Carrier" which is the quick attach unit for the tractor you are face with a $500 bill and you will now need to make your bucket compatible with the quick attach which will involve cutting off the ears and weld on a skid steer blank plate. The price is around $169 for the blank plate.
Once you have spent the money and have the set up you will say to your self why didn't I do this eairlier.

Wallace, I've never heard or seen a "Tool Carrier" at the Mahindra website, nor has my dealer ever talked about one. Can I do the exact same thing with my 2615? Thanks, I appreciate your knowledge, and help.

I had a skid steer QA installed on my Mahindra 5525 last year.

It has the ML250 FEL with 6-ft wide bucket.
$200 for the skid steer fixture welded to the bucket.
$600 for the QA adapter that attaches to the FEL arms.
$140 labor.

Yes you can and the tool carrier is the wording Mahindra uses to everyone out here we can just call it a skid steer quick attach adapter;)

The backside of your bucket does not have a tall enough profile to weld the QA plate onto it. The bucket is specifically sized to try to prevent overloading the front axle.

So is there no way to convert my bucket to a QA?

Jeremy means the bucket is shorter than the tool carrier.:( But an adapter plate can take care of that.;) It will look goofy.

Brandi is right, you can add a QA plate to your bucket.... its just that the QA plate will be taller than the bucket itself. It wouldn't stop me though....... if the look of it bothers you, you can get another bucket down the road. You can get a taller, but more shallow bucket which will have the same volume. Adding a QA to my tractor was the best thing I've ever done to it. Being able to change buckets, from bucket to forks or other attachments in seonds, made my tractor much more versatile. It was money well spent. :)

Thanks Brandi, I bought a cad plan for a portable backhoe a couple of years ago. My new house is on soft sandy soil, and finished. So I probably won't need it now. I built a 3 pt carry-all (heavy duty) and then modified it to fit the pins on my FEL as well. Got a home built woodsplitter as well.
