I paid about 33K for my 2006 3720 cab which was optioned almost like yours but also had toolbox, engine block heater, air suspension seat and hydraulic lines for FEL. No bolt on cutting edge. Personally, the cutting edge is not needed unless you really plan an extreme about of FEL use. You could always add it later if the lip was starting to wear. I paid about 18% off list.
Recently purchased Jd 4520 cab for about 16.5% off list. From prior posts, the northeast seems to have higher prices.

I cant comment on price because I've been out of the buying market for a while...things have changed since I bought my 3520...

I'd suggest against the 72" bucket.... If anything, I'd reccomend a 66" or 60" bucket...
When you say Standard bucket, what do you mean? I'd get the JD Skid Steer Foundry bucket in the size you want...or other "Genuine" Skid Steer bucket...I've got a foundry bucket and its tougher then nails...built 3x heavier then a "normal" CUT Bucket....

I think that is a little high for a 3720, I purchased a 4520 with about the same dollar amount of add ons for $34,000. this spring.

Edit; If you go to the build and price section on the Deere website you can option out a tractor to your specs and get the msrp. I would then try to get 15% off of list, or more if possible, in the southwest I was able to get just under 18% off.

I have a 3720/300cx with a 61" HD bucket and cutting edge. They do offer it. The 72" could be a little big for the 3720 depending upon what you are scooping/digging. It will handle it (I have a 72" grapple) but it can be a lot of weight if it's rocks or very heavy soil.

I have the 72" bucket on my cab 3720 and had the 61" on my old open station. The 72 is perfect for me and the 300cx has no issue lifting a full bucket of dirt or sand. I also have no issue digging with it. I would not recomend the 61" bucket after having both.

I agree on the 66" foundry bucket. A 72" would be nice fro snow, but pushing into anything the 66" will spin out the tires easily. Tough as nails and great compromise. Look at the capacities and you'll see that the SS buckets hold more. A 66" foundry full of dirt is about it for the 3000-20 unless you have a ton of ballast.

I looked at a cab tractor, but found the cable actuated loader and short throw 3 pt control was far too much of a sacrifice compared to the outstanding feel of the open station controls.

Just a couple added questions where can I find the tread with so as bucket will cover tracks. I want the option that gives me the third control for loader ie grapple. What is that listed as. I see the 3rd selective control code number LVB24845 stated rear mount couplers? On loader build page code 9049 3rd function is this the one I want if so what is the other one for.

Really? I thought the exact opposite.... The Loader controls on the Open felt like a gear shifter from a 1975 Peterbilt...too long, awkward..etc...

That being said...with Maine winters, even if the loader control was made of bamboo and 2 rubber bands on EITHER machine...I'd rather be in the warm cab...
