Got a few new toys. They take the pressure off the DK45.

The Rokons need some work, but the Mitsubishi earned its keep already.

Nice, Nice and Nice.

That mitsu is the perfect size, what does it weigh?? 15K or so. Can you trailer it??

The Rokons should be cool in the spring mud, will be interested to hear how the ride.

So what did the misses get????? Something nice I'm thinking, a new horse maybe??

Post some more pics of the mitsu, how many hours, what year, what model??? You'll really like having an excavator. What's up with the pond?

Rosey got me to plant 41 shrubs and trees around the house. The gift that keeps on giving..... The DK with the Woods hoe was the machine of choice for that job.

The Mitsu is a 1975 with 4880 hours on it, 90% pins and bushings, and 50% tracks. The 4 cylinder engine starts so fast one cannot even hear the starter, and it purrs like a kitten. It's about 16K pounds, with the 7 1/2 foot dozer blade (with float). It has a 30" bucket, which needs a link bushing because it wobbles slightly. The front windshield is gone, but the view is therefore clear! It's a snotty beast, and puts backhoes to shame for speed and sheer brute force. It's perfect for trail creation/maintenance, and various larger tasks. Yes, that means boulder duty. It sucks for fine work and lawn preservation. Not bad for $4K!!

I'll take more pics later.

Good looking excavator, I'm sure you have lots of uses for it.
I've considered buying a smaller one, we have many areas on the farm that need drainage tile, but my neighbor does that type of work and he has the ideal size Cat. My concern is after the drainage tile is in I wouldn't be using it that much, I could also put a bulldozer to good use for about two weeks.:)

I haven't seen a Rokon in years, I had a friend who used to be a dealer back in the 70's.
