Can anyone help me identify the make of this rear blade. Opinions on it are welcome too. I need a blade to rebuild and maintain my gravel driveway. One thing that attracted me to this one was that I can slide it sideways as well as "roll" it.

Thanks.

I have a Leinbach blade that is several yeas old and it looks almost identical to that one.I think it's called a slider model. Hope this helps.

I am also looking for a scrapper blade that will take the abuse of my 70 or 90 hp tractors and be able to reach over into the ditch to clean them out, ie an offset one. Problem is, the ones I need have a price tag way out of my reach, so I just keep looking and saving my pennies. Yours is a neat way of offseting that I could probably manufacture from stuff around here, but don't want to start another project just yet. Most of the ones I drool over are pivoted at the front for the offset.
Nice blade!

I've found that a landscape rake does a far better job at maintaining my driveway than a rear blade ever did.

I've got two of those, a 5 footer and a 7 footer. I inherited the 5' about 20 years ago and bought the 7' at TSC about 12 or so years ago. The 7' has held up well using it for snow and dirt. I really should sell the 5' as I've not used it in years.

David, as you know, one of the problems of having a bigger tractor. :( To have a sliding rear blade on a bigger tractor would be a disaster without huge reinforcements on the entire implement. There is a reason that no one builds a slider for the bigger machines. Keep saving those pennies and before long you can buy one of these. ;)

I've found that a landscape rake does a far better job at maintaining my driveway than a rear blade ever did.

After 20 years of use without proper re-work my driveway now has a "negative" crown. Its a gully that washes out when it rains. I need to pull the gravel that's been pushed to the outside back towards the middle. I also need to maintain the drainage ditches beside the driveway.

Correct me if I'm wrong but a blade that will tilt and offset like the one I originally posted is the best way to handle that...right? If there's a better way to do it I'd like to know.

Thanks.
