Yes, there is a knob under your left leg.

Art, yes you can adjust the mowing height of the MMM on the Masseys from the seat. There is a fine threaded knob coming through the floorboards, that unfortunately is graduated on the side in metric graduations for that purpose. It works well but is not quite as convenient as the Kubota / JD, and perhaps New Holland.

Does the MF have the exposed hydro fan like the BX and JD2305?

Not sure on that... I am sure someone that's knows more on these machines will let us know...

Is that a bad thing have that fan exposed... Sounds like it.

I haven't seen any sub-cut's without the fan. On the adjustment I thought it was a little peculiar that the graduaions were written on the side so you actually have to get off the tractor to see where you have adjusted it to!

I'm still amazed at the small belts many of the manufacturers are using on the 60" mower decks.

Some manufacturers are still putting grease fittings on the front of the dump cylinders which is a big pinch and break area for stones that over fill the bucket.

Well all I decided on the MF GC2400 with loader...

It's the winner for me.

Congrats! I am still looking, but the GC2610 is high on my list. The little Massey's really are sweet tractors.

That is interesting. I had a very similar experience as well. The Massey dealer was more knowledgeable, very straight forward and just plain warmer. The owner of the Bota dealer was a bit of a used car salesman. Tried to give me the story that "they use a better grade of steel"...

When I decided it was time to get another tractor, I immediately went back to the place where I bought my JD755 many years ago. Since they also sell Kubota, I was sure one of those two brands. Then I met a salesman who had a know-it-all and at the same time know nothing attitude. I left thoroughly disgusted, but a friend told me about this forum, so I started reading and that's when the Massey came up as an option.

So I read more and decided to go back to JD/Kubota dealership and met a different salesman who was nice enough, but didn't know much about small tractors.

Then I went to a Massey dealer, found a salesman who was kind of quirky to be sure, but sounded like he knew his stuff and gave me a fair deal on a CG2310, and I've been happy with it - and with the Massey dealer - ever since.

I have the only red tractor in a very orange neighborhood, and have never regretted my decision.

...and it looks like tomorrow will be the day when the BH comes off and the snow blower goes on.
