Nice tool. Not something you would probably use alot, but it certainly would do the job nicely for when you did need it.
It appears as though the boom will telescope. If it does, it probably wouldn't be that difficult to modify it with a hydraulic cylinder to extend it and retract it. I am sure there would be limitations for distance / weight etc. but it would add another dimension to the usability of it.
all in all, a great find !

That looks like a terrific tool when used with caution. I just looked at it and thought how useful if could be if it had one added feature. If the base was mounted on a lazy susan affair so it could rotate, you would have a rotating davit. It would have to be something like the pivot for a rear angle blade. That, of course, would also make it even more dangerous and require thoughtful use and planning to keep the tractor off it's side. Slide out extendable outriggers might be required.

Hi ,
I was thinking that as well. For now I'll see how it works and its limitations. I was thinking for adapting to a trailer for moving logs etc. But i don't want to get too far ahead just yet.

Yes it does telescope as well. About the length of the main part- another 5' or so. Modifying with a cylinder would be ok but I would have to use one of my remotes to go to another valve (maybe joystick). That would give the ultimate versatility not to mention more fun.
