Attachments - Buy Once, Buy Right... Question

Take a look at Caroni for mowers and tillers and Woods for blades, ect. I have had great luck with both. Stay away from King Kutter, just a waste of money for me.

My medium-duty Frontier landscape rake is made by Woods. Nice unit.
Compare any Frontier implement to a Woods or LandPride for price comparisons.

Obviously, I am not brand loyal.

Thank you all for providing a few brands to research. I am pretty settled on one of the Markham/Gator Attachments grapples as suggested a couple of times in this thread and others. Just need to decide on size/width. I am probably going to go with a smaller width, i.e. 48" or so. I will be researching rotary cutters next and will post again after I have settled on one or at least narrowed it down. Thanks again!

Thanks again to all for all the suggestions. I ended up purchasing the JD 5045E with the 553 loader, JD MX6 rotary cutter, and the Frontier 2172 box blade. I was able to get a better deal purchasing all the attachments as a bundle versus individual purchases. All should be delivered early next week!

That sounds like a good combination of no BS tractor and implements. You should be able to get a lot done with that setup.

Ordered my new 5045E, 553 FEL, MX6, and 2172BB on March 20th and was told it would be a couple of weeks before the brackets would be in for the FEL. Now they are saying the first week in May before the box blade and brackets for the FEL will be in. THIS IS KILLIN' ME! I think we are too used to instant gratification when we want something and this wait is driving me nuts. Is this typical for parts and attachments to wait this long? Maybe because the time of year?
