2009 trans 4 x4 mule got it tuesday

Hi Guys
jusy brought home my new trans 4x4 mule. I am curious where everybody
gets the roof an windshield? I have seen some plastic tops for about $500 or so has anybody found them cheaper? Will post a pic tomorrow.
The game preserve is doing ok I have sold as many birds in the month of OCt as did almost all last year. So things are going ok.

Try Sidebysidesports.com and others. There are alot of options available for that machine..$500 sounds high. My factory Kubota roof was around 300-350.

Congrats on the Mule...I'm sure you'll love it.

I just ordered a windshield for my Mule. Went with aftermarket because Kawasaki prizes their parts too much. Try this place.

Try contacting GR Manufacturing on the net. They are located in texas. For the Trans, the top is a two piece assembly that bolts together with a nicely designed interlocking water tight channel at the joint. Also comes with an overhead light that hard wires into the Mule's 12v system. All of the assembly hardware, brackets, spacers etc. are stocked in the big box hardware stores in case you ever need a replacement.
A few days ago I trailered the Mule to the DMV for a VIN title inspection and the top rode well at 55 mph with no signs of lifting as there are four connections along the leading edge.
If you want camo-you are out of luck as it currently is produced in black. Other than that, it is a nice unit.

I also have the GR Top and windshield and would recommend both. I bought them from my Kawasaki dealer. He stocks the GR products, but not the factory top and windshield.

Well, I received my LEXAN windshield yesterday. It is very nicely built,but there was just one small problem. I ordered one for a 3010 and they shipped one for a 4010. It won't fit.
It appears the distributor really doesn't want to work with me to correct the situation. So, if anyone would like a new windshield for a 4010, at a very good price, send me a PM.

If it is the flip-up windshield distributed by Kawasaki, I have an installation CAUTION to write to you about.

It is a flip up windshield but it is not distributed by Kawasaki. But, thanks for the heads up anyway.
