BobCat CT230
Tractor Has Been Delivered

I cannot wait to try it out I hate cold anything under 60+ is too much for me

Well I use to have 873's at work that I beat the living **** out of and the thing just kept going didn't matter what. I know these are different but I am expecting this thing with normal care and maintenance I should be able to do what needs to be done. BTW I am still waiting for mine(ordered 7/31) a new CT230 with the equivalent of the Deluxe package from 07'-08' I have over 15ac. and no driveway to speak of (so its 600ft of uphill climb over to reach house each time I come home)Now I live 75miles from my Bobcat dealer Texas you know "everything is bigger" right well at least the mileage I put on the vehicles is and the potholes in my driveway not to mention the grass in the back and front yard. So I have a few questions as only you the guys that have em' already can tell me.

1) What did you purchase the CUT for ? snow, grass(brush, finish)just for the **** of it I got money?
2) Was this tractor better than expected? what was the best and worst that you found so far?
3) What did you get on it (Options/accessories)
4) For the price would you do it again? buy I mean ?(optional whatcha pay)
5) Is this your first or what if later how does it compare
6) Any tips tricks you can think of
7) How many hrs of use so far?
8) Anything and everything else you can think of
Well guys as you might have gathered I am a Newbie to a tractor for farming
Thanks in advance for all that reply

purchased mine for mowing 1 ac, bushogging 8 ac, moving snow, general upkeep of gravel road and aceage landscaping, and repositioning rental trailers. Mostly a big toy.

As expected. Kinda wanted a bigger size but I need a small one too for mowing and fitting in confined areas. Happy compromise.

I got bobtach, one remote, normal seat, and mmm.

Would I do it over again, **** yes at that price.

Had a Kubota L295DT before.

I know a friend that disconnected his seat safety switch which made the tractor a lot handier. safety cops be damned.

Standard seat feels exactly the same to me as the deluxe. Fits my butt just fine, I got 200 bucks I can spend on something else, maybe a new chair for the living room.

Methinks the loader speed is hard to modulate compared to my other tractor, too fast for precision up/down, my last tractor was a little slow. I want my CT loader to be slower actually.

Love the mmm. it's a grass pig.

Anybody that gets the mmm, replace those goofy cotter pins with some proper cotter pins, the ones they come with pop off just by looking at them.

I Want BobCat CT230

:D:D:D:D I feel your pain:D:D:D:D
I think the difference between a 873 and a ct230 is about the same as the difference between and Abrams tank and an armored personel carrier. They are designed for different uses. The 873 probably wouldn't pull a plow very well, and even if it did it would probably get stuck when you tried to disk the area. Then you could pull it out with the ct230:D

Hey there Sabretooth; bought mine almost stricyly for a toy, ya know the bigger the boy, the bigger the toy! But since I have it I bought some toys to work with such as a finish mower(6ft KK) rear angle & box blades, tree spade, pallet forks and lawn roller. Got 2 whole acres to take care of. Got approx 60 hrs. on it now, bought it in april. So far so good with this unit- it performs as well as can be expected for its size(CT335). :DWish it had a self-leveling loader. Anybody know how to convert it into one?

Yeah I know its just that was what BobCat was made famous for I just hope it will continue with the CUT's

Me either I think they just dont want to sell it to me for the low price if someone else will pay more considering I got a new one with a bobtachFEL ,MMPto,DeluxeSeat,1Set of RR,and a SunShade 11K Delivered. Nearest I could come to that in anyother make was well over 15 without the extras or delivery

First off you must have one loving and understanding wife. 2 If you ever find a answer to the loader I'd like to know if I ever get mine

BTW : I did receive a call from the Bobcat Contact Center the gentleman I spoke with there was supposedly a manager and is going to forward my info to corporate to do something about finding out what is going on and get back to me but at the price I paid I'm happy and don't mind waiting a little I do want it don't get me wrong I just have enough to keep me busy here anyway and all its done here for the past 2 months or so is rain anyway I wouldn't want to subject it that after all it will be new and all.

Thanks for posting guys except Z RENCH I am freakin jealous
