I see a lot of used L35's out there. Are these true TLB's- that is, engineered for the hoe? I've got a few local options in the high teens for price and around 1000 hrs on them. I know I can get a similar hp Kioti new for $17-18k. I like the idea of a warantee but want to put my $ into the machine that will perform and last the best.

T-bone, yes the L35 was a tractor designed for a hoe. It is one of the Kubota line of small commercial/rental agency TLB's that meet OSHA standards for commercial job sites. The L35 has been replaced by the L39 in Kubota's current models. Very capable tractor/loader/backhoe, TLB, that still allows the use of a PTO and 3pt hitch. Some of the largest differences between the L35 and adding a hoe to a compact tractor are, better hydraulics, single seat and 4 point roll over protection.
