absolutely right. one of the better korean companies as i was told. i was always under the impression if i bought a off brand tractor, i would be ok if it had the LS badge on the frame.

Have you guys looked at any of the LS tractors? I looked extensively at the 49HP, R4944 that Montana had. It is a pretty nice machine. The thing that I don't get is that basically the same machine is available from Landini, McCormick,, left over Montana's, and now LS. Does LS do this just to be able to get the product out to more dealers. Doesn't seem it would be very good if these dealers were very close to each other. I hope that their marketing people know what they're doing.

Deep pockets? Wait for others to go under and their product is still out there. See it all the time, the big guy shows up and makes it tougher on the competition, just waits for them to go down, or buys them out and shuts them down over a period of time. Not saying that's what is going to happen here, just that I have seen it before in other industries.

Took my Mahindra to my dealer yesterday for a service job, we were talking and he said let me show you our new line of tractors. The name was LS Tractor, I posted the link down below to the website. I was very impressed with the specs and price. Just wondering if any of you guys have heard anything about the company. My dealer has been around for 20 years or so, and he said its one of the best performance values he's ever seen. Let me know what you think.

How are they priced in comparison with Deeres, Kubotas, Kioties and a like?

I am not sure but what it does say if they are selling is more people are wanting more basic tractors with less features. That is what got me interested in the off brand tractors during my search.

On average one can be had for lots less money. Maybe 30% or more.

Multi million dollar homes being sold and built day in and day out, the economy isn't that bad.

Don't think too many laid off factory and retail workers generally have the money to play around with a necessity like a tractor.

My dealer told me that the comparable model to my Mahindra 2816 would run about 2000 less than the Mahindra price. To scale that down, my mahindra cost about 2000 less than the kubota or deere. As far as the quality, I have no idea, but you have a 5 year warranty, 4 cylinder mistsi, higher lift capcity, higher fel capacity, synco shuttle standard, quick attach standard. Like I said earlier, I was very impressed with specs and price.

But some might be right, they may be a fly by night company. My dealer said he has a contract to start assembling 500 a year, increased by 100 by per year for 3 years. They will be shipped out to other dealers I assume.
