3ph to SKid Steer Adapter

   / 3ph to SKid Steer Adapter #11
Anyone have any pics of these? I want to try and build one for various reasons. One reason is to put my front blade on the rear for snow plowing, another is to be able to use my forks, grapple or bucket on the rear while using another attachment on the front. ATI has a picture of one on their website but its not big enough to really see any details. I'm trying to copy off something instaed of trial and error as I usually do. Any thoughts, comments or pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

I have wanted one for a while ...never taken the plunge.
There is a picture of the Bradco version in the middle of this thread:

Where do you get the JD Quick attach bracket that you used on your 3 ph loader adapter? It looks like a part that can be directly purchased from John deere.

I would like to build this adapter for my 3320. Thanks for the photos that is a very useful adapter. I can see many uses.

Can't you just copy the design of the QA adaptor from the front of your tractor and the 3 pt frame from one of your attachments. Then, weld the two of them together and you'll have something like the ATI adaptor.

If your talking about those 2 carriers that you normally see on the front of your loader. Yes they are JD parts. These came on the early 300cx loader, they were pron to breaking due to a poor design at the bottom where the retainer pin went. I heard alot of talk on this site about the problem. I guess it was like a recall.
Even though mine didn't break I went to the dealer and told them to get me the replacement carriers, they said fine but bring us the broken ones, I told them mine were fine but I want the new ones sitting on MY shelf, so in case they break on the week end I don't have any down time. They gave me the new ones and said when you swap them bring us the old ones, well I didn't swap them for a year, when I asked them if they still needed them they said I could keep them.

So they didn't cost me anything, I was just experimenting when I made that contraption, it will handle any load that the rest of the tractor can handle. Even though this was super simple and the other parts cost very little, I would think there would be a cheaper way, as those carriers might be pricey, as everything JD is.

I would start with a 3 pt adaptor plate and mod the blank/front side to engage front implements. Something like a solid short piece of round stock to go under the top hooks and just need a hole for the bottom pins to go thru and be retained.
I think that's what JohninCT was recommending in the previous post.

Here's a link to the thread I started when I built it if you think you wanted to go that route.
