Glad you got a response from them, and got it sorted out. Nothing worse than having two manuals disagree on a service or maintenance procedure.
Every time I see something like that, I think "Either one is right or the other, but since one is obviously wrong, what makes me think the other one is right ??" Paranioa creeps in about then and I'm off for a visit to the rubber room.
I got a survey request from Kubota the other day, wanting to know how the buying experience was, etc. At the end of it, there is a line or two for comments. I told them the tractor was great product, second to none in my opinion, but it was a shame that it was undermined by a terrible service and owner's manual.
