New Arrival - MF 1635

Nice, I don't come on here in a few days and you've upgraded already. I guess you won't have to take all that time builing that cab, that's a good way to justify it.

The whole process actually started almost a month ago. We only went to DS Downham to price new blades and belt for our 1505 MMM. Shaun Tearne put some numbers together, and with 0-0-72, we really could not resist.

They were just finishing PDI/Set up of 30 1643 Hydro Cab/Horst V blade- Rear sanders for a customer that got a big contract down in the GTA. After we sat in the 1643, we noticed a 1635 sitting on the lot, and checked it out. That was it, they had to get this one shipped from the yard in Tacoma Washington. We also decided to go RFM this time, and we are happy that we did. The RF500 is one heavy well built unit.

I absolutely love the deep throaty rumble this thing has, and it is quieter running that the 1523.

Hey Fred, would you know how to install the detent for the rear hydraulic controller?

Wow, what a great looking machine. I'm sure it will be great to be in a air conditioned cab...well you might use the heater too!

Now all you need is one of those laptop mounts that the cops and truckers use so you can keep reporting while you are working with your new toy.

Thank you. Was out today, and am amazed at how quickly it heats up. I assume they use the thermostat bypass line, like the 1523 did, so the block heats up faster.

You should be ready for the cold weather!- A pic of the inside would be nice.

Are you planning to add a loader?

I know all about going to the dealer for parts, and coming home with a new tractor.- I went to my dealer this spring to get some oil, filters etc.. to do service on my 4300.- My JD dealer had a great deal on a JD 110 TLB.- I bought it that same day and they delivered it that night.

When I got home I didn't tell my wife anything about buying a new tractor.- At 9:15pm that night the dealer came up the driveway with the new 110.- My wife noticed someone coming up the driveway pulling a trailer, and said they must be lost, or maybe that's one of your friends.

When she seen that new tractor she couldn't understand WHY I needed another tractor, and WHY I needed one with a another backhoe.

But the next morning when she got a better look at it, she could tell the difference in size.

Wow, hate to see how much those blades & belt would've costed. Must have been crazy to justify a new tractor! I really can't say much, I once traded a truck in just because it needed tires.
I'm not sure but if you're looking to have the float/constant feed on the valve you may have to change the valve slice itself. If you're just looking to power a log splitter or something you can just put a bungee cord or something to hold it. It's not the way I would do it, but cheaper than another valve.

Wow ! even though my tractors are all great....seeing a nice new one like that brings back memories of that first day and the new smell...enjoy it and either never use it and just visit it every day or lock in the memorie....LOL - Really looks like a nice machine and I'm sure you'll be real happy.

No plans for a loader for a while, but it is loader ready, which is nice. So all we would have to do is buy the loader/brackets.















Nice unit, and OH SO HAPPY with the Power shuttle.

And the 110 TLB is a nice unit too!! Does the BH come off easy? And does it have a 3PTH?

Fred, See above pics, we have 2 mid remotes, and one rear set. We did use a bungy cord, pulling the controller for the rear set backwards. We have the bracket (detent) and the dealer is coming out to install the block heater.

I agree. Whether is is new, or used, it feels great for the arrival. But the new smell rocks.
