Kubota 2410 HST oil foaming on dip stick

I have A Kubota 2410 just had all oils and filter changed, now having steering trouble (sometime hard to turn) and hydraulics on loader seem to be ruff (chatter going up) I also notice if I run unit for a while, turn it off and pull out HST dip stick the oil looks foamy. Any help would be great.

You have a leak on the suction side of the hydraulic system, it is sucking air in while the tractor is running causing the fluid to foam. If you continue running it this way your will destroy your HST and hydraulic pump.

The most likely cause is the filter is not tight, is missing the gasket, or the old gasket is still under there, or it's the wrong filter.

Don't profess to know anything about Kubotas' but sounds like you may be sucking air around the filter. I would remove and check the oring to see if it is damaged. Also check for proper contact of the filter. This assumes you did nothing else to the tractor and you refilled with the proper amount of oil.

Whatever the problem is needs fixing rightaway as this can cause a lot of damage to your hydraulic system.

Didn't mean to be cryptic in my previous post, but as the gentlemen just stated, this is pretty darn obvious. If you didn't have this condition before you did the HST fluid/filter change and it began almost immediately, then by golly, there's your answer.

In another thread you mentioned having done this fluid change in mid October?
So, you have been running like this for 6 weeks? How many hours?
I guess I'd have that filter off right quick like. I also be darn sure I really put SUDT in it when I did the change. Mistakes happen. Just gotta undo 'em.

I have only run it for about one hour I hope this did not damage anything. I will check filter , I am going to by both filters and try it again myself. Is there also a screen that need to be changed.

Also anyone know if Carver Equipment is still open, tried calling and no answer says phone disconnected

No screen on a B model, AFAIK. Yes, a screen on BX model.
