They are saying we got 12 inches of snow but I really think it is fluffy water.:D:D I have never seen snow this heavy I would ride up on top of it. to make a sow ball all you had to do was grab a hand full. I used the FEL and back blade did my 300 foot driveway and the tar and chip road that is about a mile long. It took about 2 hours. Was the snow this heavy/wet for everybody and the temp was about 33 degrees.

Thats how it was here in Northern Indiana. We only got about 5" of it.

Have about 2 feet in the Harrisonburg area. Drifts up to 4 feet deep. Like the saying in Jaws "going to need a bigger tractor". I might try to move some snow this afternoon.

Guys,
I am south of Asheville, NC.. and we have measured 12 inches in lots of places..
We have drifts over 2 feet.. Check the pic off the back deck....

Broke the scrape blade when it hooked on a rock.. But got most everything done..

I kept meaning to buy a welder over the summer and never did...
When we took a little drive over to Harbor Frieght it was closed due to the storm..Just cant see spending $300 for a welder and helmet when it's going to be used so little.... 2 welds on 1/4 inch steel straight and a L joint....

attached a pic off the back deck.. and one looking down on part of the driveway..The part is that paved.. I am too ashamed of the gravel portion to show it..... There will be a couple of days of repairs on it when the snow is gone!

anyway... Who else has pics?

We have right at 17" in Brandywine, MD. It stopped snowing at about 11:15 last night. This is the biggest December fall in a looong time. Dad plowed about 1/4mi of driveway yesterday, and in a little over an hour, there was and inch covering where he cleared. It didn't take him long, just about an hour, and he's out again, now.

I believe the Brilliant Fat One claims "the cooling is a direct effect of the warming" :)

Oddly enough, up here in Maine we haven't seen a flake yet. The radar says it should be, but it's not. Sure is cold though!

I just got lucky... looked out the window to see my neighbor (large dairy farmer) with a big green JD 4WD cab tractor clearing my driveway. Just need to clean up a couple small areas with my orange tractor!

Just spent 1-1/2 hours 'plowing' with the fel. We got just over 12" here last night and I'm just glad it wasn't too windy. The largest drift we have is on the back deck - about 3 feet.

Just another day in New England
