Sounds to me that you need to allow a base to set up on your driveway.

Next time you get up to 3 or 4 inches of snow use your vehicle to pack it down. Don't plow it.

Does your ground freeze or you in a region where freeze and thaw happens November through March.??

It's all about keeping your plow edge above grade.

We have had about 2 big snow's where i live. I have been using the LA854 loader on my Kubota L5240HSTC to do it. I love the fact that i can stack snow, but at the same time it is killing my driveway. I am not sure if i should look into a snow pusher, loader mounted plow, regular plow, or snowblower. What do you guys suggest???????????

Do you have a bucket level indicator.?? This would help a lot, if you don't.

For CT you probably don't need a snow blower as long as you have room on the sides to pile snow. For those locals where they get huge dump after huge dump, they pretty much need a blower, as there's only so high you can bank snow.

Don't know what else to recommend to you besides the loader, I have front frame mounted plow new to me this year, I have a rear blade also. For a few years I used my loader with high volume bucket, which in effect acts as a scooping lift-able/loadable pusher box.

If I had to choose just one of those 3 mentioned, I would go with the loader.

You say your tearing up your driveway, are you using Float on your loader? If gravel drive then float and nose up just a hair and you should be ok.

Here is a couple more of my complete setup. We got 3" more today so I was just playing. Sorry for the poor quality, took the pics with the cell.

The combo of the front 7' Snow Plow and the 7' Woods Rear Grader Blade work great.

I find that the float on the LA854 doesn't put enough ground force down and it is leave little bits of snow behind

Our ground is frozen from about Novemver right through March

I would do that but my girlfriend drives a FWD car and its a real pain to get in in 3-4 inches of snow
