Soory Larry my fault not reading properly:rolleyes: Michael you need to eliminate any play in that small link on top also do not tighten the large adjustable screw up too tight as you need to be able to move the top arm to actuate the valve. I had a look today and sparex is the only company that does the small pins and link, i have drilled them out to i think 5mm and fitted them with small cap head screws with locknuts but they need to be long enough to work on the shank of the screw and not the thread. Hope this helps

G'day unless the cyl is leaking ext then it prob just needs a seal kit both sparex and bare co do them alot cheaper than a new cyl and not too difficult to fit, may i ask why you think it is the cyl?

The cylinder has been rebuilt, not by me, 2 times in slightly less than 60 hours operating time, spaced out over six months, and is again leaking. Fluid drips or streams out of the housing around part # 11, the "End, Vaulve Linkage" according to the diagram part listing. I suspect that some part either the housing, valve, or end piece is to worn to be properly rebuilt. Without specifications you can't mic the parts to find out what is to worn be rebuilt. Any Suggestions?

Thanks,
Michael

G'day i can't tell you for sure from the parts desc but i think you are refering to the valve that is bolted to the top of the cyl, if it is leaking out of the shaft that comes out of it then i think you will need to replace the valve assy unfortunately the only way to get them is to buy a complete cyl i think the bare co site has them part no B1207 and sparex list them as S.40141 you may want to try vapourmatic or bepco they may list them individually hope this helps

I found one at a salvage yard and finally had a chance to install it. Works great. No leaks! I did however have to adjust the control valve and tow the front wheels in to stop the front end from wagging.
Thanks for the help,
Michael
