I suggest you ask the question again in the Zetor specific forum.
Zetor-Century_Branson

Someone there probably HAS the 7711 and/or has had similar models.

From experience, we bought a flail mower off the town next to us and it looked new. The reason: Even though it was seven years old they could never get their Zetor tractor to not overheat. Low bid is not always best.

7211 here, open station, I purchased it from a repair shop/jockey operation. Was overheated I was told, they replaced one liner and piston, reringed the other 3. I adjusted some linkage, bled the brakes and cleaned the limbs out of the fuel tank. This animal has been a trouper, will lift an IH 314 3x16's rollover plow or will pull a 12' Glencoe field cultivator. Runs cheap and starts well, best tractor for the money I have purchae in sometime.

Zetor no contest.
I've been able to get parts drop shipped to me next day for 7745. Its a solidly built tractor. Just compare the castings, I've looked at more Belaruses with slopply welds and mold marks on the castings. If the outside looks that bad what does the inside look like? The disadvantages to my Zetor is that its a big tractor for the hp, it takes forever to turn in my small fields. But its built to last. Also Belarus is a one of the nasties police states in the world. I'd rather not give them any money.
If your looking I'm acutally selling my 7745 so that I can stay with JD quick detach for bale handling.

I think the guy told the truth about the repairs to the engine. It smoked and wetstacked pretty bad until I ran the stuff out of it a few times to break it in. Had it out yesterday in 20' F weather dragging some trees in and idles while I'm working. Runs cleaner than when I got it in the early summer. Problem with Zetors is at one time they where rather cheap new and guys that where on the end of their rope or oldtimers that thaught they could treat them like a JD A got them and they didn't recieve the best care.
