Make sure that you are turning the right one first. I will attach a picture of it. Then if you are, this wouldnt be the first one that I have run into that is frozen. It will take some significant force to get it to break loose if it has never been adjusted and the machine has some hours on it.

when i did the adjustment it was also frozen up, use a pipe and turn it counterclockwise a bit to break it loose, its the only thing i could get to work. the flat blade screwdriver was not going to get it without stripping it.

I am taking delivery soon of a RTV 1140 CPX. Do these units have the same problems or have these issues been resolved?
Thanks!

Have I missed something? Is there a description somewhere on this forum that tells me the procedure for getting more power to the wheels, or to at least be able to get the tires to spin instead of just sitting there? I've reread this a few times and I do see where the servo needs adjustment and maybe the RPM's are to low, but how? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've got the right one for sure, and it is frozen. I've already dinged the slot for the screw driver already, I'll re-group and come up with a better way to turn it, I really hate the idea of a pipe wrench! I'm thinking something with a couple of the metric nuts on it tightened against each other.

Put some PB Blaster on it for an hour or so first...I'd use the dual nut treatment, not a pipe wrench:eek:

been adjusting around on my servo doesent seem to make any diff.i have the worst rtv ever made its sick wont pull out it track . been lurking around this site for a few years decided to join today its a great site let me fill you guy in on what i have tried to this point.i have a 2007 rtv 900 my second rtv wish i kept the first one. my dealer is a great guy but his brother is the service tech at the dealer and he does not have a clue i took it back 5 time and he kept telling me nothing wrong now like i said i had another rtv my brother has one my neighbor has one thay run circles around mine i mainly stay in low creeping around but several time it quits pulling in low and just sits there doing nothing but humming do matter how much fuel you give it.
i removed the spark arrester as soon as i purchured it change the hydro fliud 3 times with super udt and all the filters i believe the problem lies in a simple adjustment i just need a little guidence the servo adjustment screw i belive is the answer i move it out aand in a little keeping carfull track of the # of turns maybe like 1.5 out and 1 in but thats it maybe im not turning it out enough. so is the trick to turn it ride it and keep doing this to it fells better or are there some kind of pressure your looking for anyway any help would be great thank inadvance love my rtv just wont it to be as good as the other ones around
