Just wondered - being new to Tractors and implements - are there any tips anyone could share when using a log splitter run off the hydraulics, its a 10 tonne pressure up and down job.

If your tractor is not plumed for hydraulics, you will have to plum your tractor to work the hydraulics on the spilter. Also, you may want to consider installing a self containing hyd system on the spliter, and then run the spliter off of your PTO.
