Humm. A first post! I have a 1970 Massey Ferguson 150 with the AD 152 Perkins diesel with about 4K hours on it. I took the top off the injector pump about 1 year ago and replaced the O rings on the two shafts coming out the top. It fixed the leak. When reassembling I could not replace the small spring on the 2 holes inside the pump with the open ends of the spring facing down....so I replaced it with the open ends facing up. It was OK. The tractor has recently starting bogging down going up hill. Going up a small grade in 2nd high the rpms start to drop. I can pull the throttle wide open and not change the engine rpm at all. When I get to the top of the hill the tractor starts to race like crazy. There seems to be a flat spot in engine power between 1,000 and 1,300 rpms. Higher and it runs OK. Would the spring falling off inside the pump cause this? Sorry for the long post. Any ideas? Thanks

G'day mule man and welcome to TBN if the spring has fallen off you will get no throttle at all as this spring is req to overcome the govenor i think you have a govenor pro and need to get the pummp o/hauled

I made it much better by bleeding the system again yesterday, and the governor does kick in now. There seems to be a lag on acceleration?
