Sadly, today few consumers care about any of this. Their primary concern is the amount of the monthly payment. A small portion of them even ask for the length of the terms. This is from a close friend that is a car salesman.

I have a deal for them :D

I preach over and over again to my kids the importance of knowing actual cost of things, that a monthly payment alone don't mean nuttin.
And there is no such thing as 0% interest, just look at the price increases in tractors over the last couple of years alone.

I understand your sentiments, but actually, there is such a thing as 0% interest. That is just about what your bank is paying on your passbook right now. That is also just about the current Fed Rate. Seriously, it is .0025 or something akin.

So, if you are a tractor builder/seller, that's about what you'd charge to keep your factories running and your people working and protect your market share.

I'll take the 0% for 72 if the price of the tractor isn't inflated. I rather keep my money in funds/accounts that make a lil bit of money.

Come on guys it's a big sand box out here!!!
Beside ya never know what I may sell in the future!!!!:D
Some times I feel like a Kubota dealer...we run a lot of Kubota's through our shop for routine services and we also mount a lot of Woods backhoes on them.
That's one thing you'll find with me...so long as we can make customers happy we are color blind;)
