Price Check 300x, 300cx pricing

I had the same question - and was shown - the cylinders on the loader is the only differance between the 300,300X and the 300 CX to give the extra lift.

True, but theres more to the story....not just the lift cylinders, but the CX uses an additional linkage to generate more curl force.

Another thing I just noticed looking at these pics (it may be an optical illusion) is it appears the foward portion of the boom is smaller on the X and the CX also utilizes a larger equilizer tube....

Good point's.
See what happens when you go trying to trust a sales person - it's always the same, tell you what you want to hear I guess!
Sorry for the misstaken info. !!!
Isn't it true though that a pic's worth a thousand words ?

My 70 R loader was less than $900. with components and tax. The cylinder rods are 1 1/16" and have no problem lifting the rear tires with a counter weight. It will lift 8' and at 2100 rpm cycle quickly.
When I looked at adding a 200cx loader the extra mounting kit required for my application, tax, and shipping was just short of $3500. I just couldn't see where value, met quality. Granted every owner may not have the time, patience, or tools to fabricate a loader but it was the best choice for me.

Yea the price is definitely nice that way, unfortunately I don't have the means to make my own.

Let me ask this:

The tractor already has the JD joystick installed. Are there any other capable/cost saving loaders from other manufacturers that would be compatible and take advantage of the fact I already have the joystick?

Thanks! Jx

Do yourself and our wallet a favor.
Buy a Koyker loader.
5 foot bucket and pallet forks for less than a 300CX
American made quality.
Good company.
I assume you are not doing heavy construction with the FEL.

This is another guy who sells plans for backhoes ,loaders ,3-pt hitch unit for tractors with out 3-pt hitch etc.
Good people, friendly , gives what you pay for ,nothing hidden ,no suprises!
But again you have to have the equipment to build them with - as the name implies he sells plans - very good plans - easy to follow.
I do have the equipment and shop to do it in ,but have not biult my 708 digger (backhoe) in the few years I've had the plans for, because I don't have the time!
So a friend said ,take the plans to a local trade school ,or welder training school, even some high schools - so I did - a colleldge and I'm suppling the hydraulic's and steel and controls and students are at work on it now !
It's being worked on my the students who get all there work projects completed early and want to work on this digger - it's like a bonus for the better learners.
We'll see how it turns out ?
The teacher thought it was a great project for all the differant asspects of the unit , from hydraulic's to welding ,to wiring , small engine usage.
This is getting too long - so if your wondering check out the site and look up the 708 Cad-digger you'll see what's being built...very cool toy!
