Box scraper question

Hi, I never owned one so the question may sound stupid to many, but can someone tell me what is the difference between a BOX SCRAPER and a RETRACTABLE Box Scraper?

It looks like its all about the scarifiers. On a standard box blade the scarifiers are adjusted individually. On the retractible the scarifiers are all attached to a bar which is connected to a lever by linkage so that all of the scarifiers are adjusted simultaneously.
